JUNE 11, 2010 RECITAL INFORMATION

TICKETS: Seating for the ONE evening performance of Amanda’s Dance Center’s 14th Annual Revue will be reserved. The cost of tickets will be $12.00/Adults and $7.00/children 3-12years. Children under three- NOT requiring a seat- are free.
TICKET PURCHASE: For your convenience, tickets will be available for purchase ONLINE!!! Giving everyone the opportunity to select their own seats and print their own tickets. Tickets will go on sale in May. Please be looking for a notice sent home in the upcoming weeks regarding instructions on where & how to purchase them. We do ask that you purchase no more than 5 tickets per family the first week of sales, so that all of our families have a chance to get close seating. There will be a limited number of seats available for cash purchase at the studio & at the show for those who do not wish to order online with a credit card.
REMINDER: There is NO VIDEOTAPING ALLOWED at the show. A professional DVD will be available for purchase. Cost is $35.00.
SHOWTIME: The show will begin at 7:00pm, with our ‘Solo Cabaret’ beginning at 6:30pm. Dancers must be dropped off between 6:00-6:15pm. Our recitals are approximately 2 hours short!
JUNE 10, 2010 REHEARSAL INFORMATION
The rehearsal on Thursday, June 10th is a MANDATORY rehearsal and will begin promptly at 4:00pm. Our rehearsal is CLOSED to anyone other than our dancers and parent volunteers.
DANCERS MUST ATTEND THIS REHEARSAL IN ORDER TO PERFORM IN THE RECITAL!
***WE NEED YOUR HELP!!!***
TWO MOMS WILL BE NEEDED PER CLASS to help out backstage at the recital AND sit with the kids at the rehearsal. If you would like to assist backstage at the recital, but cannot make it to the rehearsal then please see Miss Mandie. Classes that have more than 10 dancers will need at least 3 volunteers.
It is our parent volunteers that help make our show such a success and keep our dancers looking their best!
We really like to try and have the same moms at the rehearsal that are working backstage. Two reasons: 1.) The kids (and parents!) will become familiar with who is helping them backstage by sitting with them at the rehearsal. 2.) Backstage moms will be able to see the show while assisting at the rehearsal.
PLEASE NOTE…Volunteers signed up before MAY 10th will receive $10 off their recital DVD AND a FREE recital t-shirt!!
COSTUME DISTRIBUTION is the week of May 10th.
Before your child’s costume can be taken home, all studio balances INCLUDING JUNE tuition must be paid. Please see the studio receptionist or your child’s instructor if you have questions about your remaining balance.
Also, please see the receptionist to check your EMERGENCY CONTACT INFO! Please make any necessary changes so that we have correct names and phone numbers for those dancers participating in the recital.

DANCE PICTURES will be taken 4:30-6:30pm on
TUESDAY, MAY 18th at our South Daytona Studio and
WEDNESDAY, MAY 19th at our Ormond Beach Studio.
Proofs will be available for viewing the following week. Please sign up at the desk for an appointment beginning May 1st.

Adc dancers attended Intrigue Dance Intensive in Orlando this past February. Congratulations Nicole MacIntyre and Olivia Lindfors on your year and convention scholarships at Intrigue Dance Intensive. Also, a congratulations to Ashley Siner for her teacher acknowledgement! Dancers received a High Gold for their "Kick Off Your Sunday Shoes." As well as a Special Award for being "Fantastic Footloose Fun!" Great job "Fantastic Footloose" Girls!!!
